New Year - New Changes

First and foremost let me wish you a very happy 2008! May this year contain all the things that you are wishing/planning for.

The second, and main purpose of this post is to ask you a question (yes you sitting there quietly reading away thing that no one is watching).

Even though I’m on my mid-summer/new year holidays and there is plenty of others things to be doing (like watching cricket and hanging out with my man) I’m also in planning mode for Working Solo. There are already plans afoot for 2008 that are very exicting but one of the things that I’m going to complete before I get back to officially working (on Jan 14) is a new look and feel for this site.

So I’m asking for your feedback …

If you could change ONE thing about the Working Solo website, what would it be?

Any and all suggestions will be considered.

One thing about this current site? Or the previous one? I know change is good… but I enjoyed the colour and layout of your previous one. My single suggestion would be having your contact details (esp phone number) more accessible .. or in a more obvious place for the very few of us who read your site and aren’t GENIUSSSSES ;-))

I have to agree with Karynne. I think your previous layout looked more inviting, warmer.

Also, I’d like to have more. More posts, as I really enjoy reading them. Thanks Leah.

Thanks for your feedback Karynne and Angela. Not to worry about the layout. This one is just a plain one that I’m using whilst the new look is coming together. Should have something to show you early next week.

I just stumbled on your site and so far it is great. The only thing I hate (and is on most WP sites) is the previous entries and next entries. When I am new to a site I move backwards through the posts. But does previous mean posts I’ve read? Or does it mean posts that are older than the ones currently displayed? I think something like older posts and newer posts is a lot easier to work through, it lets you decide if you want to go backwards or forwards in time.

Thanks for the through Lia. I completely agree that the previous / next links could be confusing. Something for me to change this weekend I think.
