Thanks to the hard work and vision of the multi-talented [tag]Ben Yoskovitz[/tag] (Instigator blog, Startup Spark and Where Is Basil? -now missing-in-action) a blog carnival that had disappeared from the horizon is now back. Ben has added another feather to his cap and taken on the hosting of Carnival of Entrepreneurs - the first edition was earlier today.
If you are new to Blog Carnivals they are a great way to :
- get to know some of the many blogs that are written in a particular area, which in turn can lead to some outstanding online connections (a carnival is how I came across Ben).
- get you and your blog known by people who are interested in the area that you write about. (again the kick-on effect of growing a network is ever-present).
If you are interested in knowing about the many blog carnivals currently making their way around the online world you can get more details at Blog Carnival.
If you are interested contributing to the [tag]Carnival of Entrepreneurs[/tag] then here are the details.
- The Carnival of Entrepreneurs is a weekly event and will be published each Wednesday (Canadian time which is early Thursday morning for us in Australia and New Zealand).
- Submissions can be sent to me directly via email or you can use the submission form at the Blog Carnival site.
- Submission deadline is each Monday at 2pm (again this is Eastern Canadian time)
- Unless what you send is total crap he will post it. If it is really good he may highlight it at the front of the carnival. All-in-all though this is a “carnival of inclusion.”
- He is looking for everything and anything that’s entrepreneur-related. And since the definition of an [tag]entrepreneur[/tag] is still up for debate, there is flexibility in terms of what he considers entrepreneurship. For example, if you’re a stay-at-home [tag]freelancer[/tag] that considers your work entrepreneurial, then get involved!
Get yourself over to this week’s edition as there are many great posts to read (I even managed to squeeze one in). Oh dear! So many posts so little time.

Leah,
I love it! The Carnival of Entrepreneurship is born. Being fairly new to the blogging world, I knew nothing about this, but call me addicted! We’ve spoken before about our dislike of networking groups. I think this is something that fits my style. Thanks for the intro, and I can’t wait to participate!

I agree Chole that the Carnival is a great form of networking and I’m glad that it fits your style. I suppose that the connection that I was able between you and the Carnival of Entrepreneurs is one of the cornerstones of good networking - helping people find things or others that help their cause.
Take care and enjoy Christmas!
