There is not a great deal of 2006 left for me in a [tag]Working Solo [/tag]sense - all the projects have been put the rest for the remainder of the year, and most of today has been spent clearing out paperwork and getting the desk cleared off.
Now is the time for reflection, rest and rejuvenation (oh and cricket too). This will be my last blog post until January 8th when I return to the office full of renewed energy and passion for technology, design and helping small business women understand and leverage both of these areas.
Even though there are a variety of end-of-year blog writing projects I have to be honest and say that the energy required for these has “left the building” and I won’t be too far behind.
Just before I close the door and switch off the light for 2006 I would like to extend my thanks to each and every one of you - my clients, colleagues, readers, and friends. Many of you were nothing but a promise when this year started - we did not know each other but that changed in just 12 short months.
There are many of you though that I did know when the year started. You are my champions and supporters and your warmth and support for my move back to into the world of technology and design has had effects far greater and deeper than you’ll ever know. Thank you doesn’t quite seem enough.
Thanks also must go to my husband (who occasionally reads this blog and is my biggest supporter) and family for trying to understand the passion I have for self-employment and for helping others (even while I am juggling getting dinner on).
I wish you all a very happy and enjoyable Christmas. My wish for you in 2007 is that you manage to live a life that is overflowing with passion, peace and success. May we all leave the world a little better than we found it at the beginning of the year.

And if you want a little Christmas smile, drop by the site for Optus (an Australia telecommunications provider) and check out their Christmas wombat. One day I might share why I have the nickname “wombat”.

That Wombat is too cute! You’ll definitely have to share why you have the nickname wombat with us all…
I hope your Christmas was festive and merry, and your year in 2007 is one of unparalleled success and happiness… enjoy your break!
